How to use DocFlip

Convert PDF to Word, or Word to PDF

Open the app or click the toolbar icon, pick a tab — PDF → Word or Word → PDF — then drop a file or click to choose one. DocFlip converts it on your device and hands you a Download button.

Your documents never leave your device

Everything happens in your browser. No upload queue, no account, no servers involved — your documents stay yours.

Made for getting the words out, and getting a clean PDF back

PDF → Word extracts editable text so you can pick up editing where a PDF left off. Word → PDF produces a PDF that looks right to send, without giving up an editable copy of your document.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes — one file per run, up to 10 pages, is free forever. Pro (one-time) unlocks unlimited pages, batch conversion, and priority handling for tables & multi-column layouts.

Will PDF → Word look pixel-perfect?

No, and that's by design. DocFlip pulls out editable text — headings, paragraphs, and multi-column text are reflowed into reading order — but complex layouts are simplified rather than cloned exactly. It's built for editing the words, not for matching the original page pixel-for-pixel.

Can I edit the text in the PDF I get from Word → PDF?

No — that PDF is image-based so it looks exactly like your document, but the text isn't selectable. It's meant for sending a PDF that looks right, not for further text editing.

Can DocFlip convert a scanned PDF?

Not on its own. A scanned PDF is just an image with no text layer, so there's no text to extract. DocFlip detects this and will suggest running it through TextFit to OCR it first.
